As if the bed nook wasn’t cool enough, that door leads to the closet, which holds a ladder to a reading space, with the “balcony” window above the bed to look out!
This is amazing
Attitude
Cheryl continually complained that she didn’t make enough money, couldn’t afford the things she wanted, and, therefore, wasn’t ever going to amount to anything. A counselor said to her, “You’re throwing your energy away complaining instead of using it to get ahead.”
“But you don’t understand. The job odd the problem, not me.” Cheryl countered.
The counselor said, “Your low paying job may be a problem, and your boss may demand too much, but if you are continually that upset, you are causing yourself more harm than either the job or the boss.”
“What can I do?” she asked.
The counselor said, “You can’t control your boss or the job, but you can control how you feel about them. Change your attitude.”
Cheryl took her advice. When she stopped whining about her life, people around her noticed. She got a promotion, and with her new job status she was more marketable. Within a few months, she was transferred out of the department into a position with even higher pay and a more supportive boss.
Awful is a state of attitude. A change in attitude will change the state of things!
Matthew 17:20
Romans 10:17
Mark 9:24
Hebrews 11:1
The story and the scripture were taken from a book called God’s little lessons for teens.
It’s my belief though, that no matter how old you are, any lesson can pertain to where you are in life.
The secret for long relationships is not having a perfect and harmonious love affair. It is not how less often you fight, not because of the number of similarities and the things you both like doing together nor the number of mistakes you did. Those things count but it is the faith that keeps you going. A relationship would last if both of you are willing not to give up, if both of you are willing to stand up and still try every time one of you or both of you fall. You should not lose hope when you are struck with problems along the way. Give each other hope and hold on as long as you can.
It’s been a year since the publication of Green’s acclaimed The Fault in Our Stars. To mark the anniversary, Green and his brother will be performing at Carnegie Hall—and everyone is invited, via live streaming video! Find an event near your hometown and you won’t have to miss a second of it. Be sure to check your local event, as some are first come first serve (no tickets), and some require reservations.
You can also host your very own meetup, and watch the Vlogbrothers livestream with Nerdfighters near you! Register at tumblr.com/meetups/organize and include the phrase ‘John Green Meetup’ in the venue field to receive a special Tumblr Meetup kit, while supplies last. 15 lucky people who sign up for a meetup kit will come with extra goodies, including a signed copy of the exclusive poster above!
Updated post! We’ve added events from all across the country (even one event in Vietnam!) for the anniversary of The Fault in Our Stars! Check below for a live streaming or trivia (or both!) event near you. We will be adding to this list as we receive more details about new events, so check back!

Hello everyone (:
I just wanted to say sorry again for not posting very often, and that also, Aerin is six months old now ^_^ he’s getting so big!
For everyone out there who thinks they can’t “do parenthood” or “be a mom” I promise you that you CAN do it. I use to literally have break downs, crying, rocking back and forth, saying over and over again how this couldn’t be happening and how I couldn’t be a mother. Six and a half months in, I love my son so much I don’t even know what I would do without him, and I’m doing just fine at being a mommy. You do have the strength to be a mother, and you will be the best mother that you can be, for children who will love you unconditionally.
